First RPG GAMEMASTER

The D&D game mentioned in yesterday’s post fell apart when some layoffs happened at the workplace and suddenly our group was DM-less.

Having the most RPG experience and the most games to select from, I rebooted our group using a brand new homebrew campaign using the Savage Worlds system.

Session zero was a little iffy. The complete departure from anything familiar with D&D left the group uncertain. But the next week, the group almost immediately fell in love with Savage Worlds from the first session. The ease of play allowed the game to get out of the way and the story was just singing along.

The setting was a Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. kind of super agents game, heavily inspired by that and the O.S.I. of the Venture Bros series. Set in our local area of Minneapolis/St. Paul Twin Cities. Fighting against urban fantasy monsters. A bit of a World of Darkness thing.
